The Search for the Perfect Christmas Tree

Yes, we realize we are a little late, but the season just snuck up on us! Yesterday, Jason, Butch, Jordan and I went on a snowy search for our family Christmas tree. Christmas tree "hunting" is encouraged by the local Forest Service office because so many of our surrounding forests are overgrown and crowded with small, young trees. By selecting our tree straight from the forest, we are able to help restore the forest to more natural conditions, in a very small way. It was really fun for all of us, except grumpy Butch.
