Fall hike through the aspens

These pictures were taken on a 12-mile hike up to the peak of Tesuque. From the top of this peak, you can see Santa Fe, the radio towers, and the ski basin we will be visiting this winter. It was a fantastic hike for seeing the changing aspen leaves. The yellow seemed really dramatic against the evergreens. Enjoy the pics!

Burning of Zozobra 2005

These photos were taken at the annual Santa Fe celebration called Burning of Zozobra. The Kiwanis build a huge puppet that represents the bad spirits of the community's past. Then, every year, the community comes together to burn those bad spirits (and Zozobra). Overall, it was a neat experience, but it was also kind of weird!

2005 Rio Chama Pictures

Hello all! Here are some pictures from the Rio Chama, located north of Santa Fe. We had a great time camping on the river because the scenary was beautiful and there was no one around. The dogs got to run around free and seemed to have a blast. Hope you enjoy the pics!
