July 4th Colorado Backcountry Adventure

Over the July 4th weekend, Coleman, Jason, Butch, and Jordan traveled to southwest Colorado to explore the snow-capped mountains north of Silverton and other cool places in the San Juan mountains. Below are some photos from our adventure. The first set of photos are from the 4x4 backcountry route known as the Alpine Loop. We camped in the mountains and saw lots of snow. The next few photos are from our hike to Fourmile Falls north of Pagosa Springs. The waterfall is located within the Weminuche Wilderness Area. We hope everyone had a nice 4th of July holiday!

Maui Photos- Group #2

Wow- I just noticed how long it has been since I posted our first round of Maui photos. I have finally posted the second round - better late than never (I guess). These are photos from an authentic luau that Jason and I attended when we were in Maui (back in November). The food was amazing and the performances were even better! We learned about the history of hula dancing and how it has changed over time. I hope you enjoy the photos!

Maui Photos - Group #1

We took a lot of photos during our trip to Maui in November (over 350 pictures)! So, this is the first group. In this set, you will see quite a few photos of the off-grid cottage where we stayed part of the trip, including the Buddhist stupa on the property. We also included other pictures from our explorations around the island. The surfer and kite boarder photos were taken at Ho'opika Bay, about 15 minutes from where we were staying. The crazy pink fruit is called Dragonfruit and we bought it at a fresh fruit stand in Hana. Stay tuned - more photos will be posted soon.
